The "Fractal Design North x Stealkey D4 Distroplate" is an ingenious distroplate that was specially developed by one of our customers for optimum mounting flexibility in the rear area of your case. It allows the integration of a 240mm radiator at the top and a 360mm radiator at the front of the case. This distroplate is perfectly positioned to be placed next to the IO shield and in the fan bay of your system, and offers the option of mounting a DDC or D5 pump.
The transparent acrylic material of this distroplate not only provides an impressive aesthetic design, but also allows a clear view of the cooling circuit. With a special focus on functionality and compatibility, it has been designed to fit seamlessly into the rear of your case without compromising GPU compatibility.
The Distroplate has various connection options, including a fill hole, a drain hole, a port for a temperature sensor and two additional ports for flexible configurations. Particularly noteworthy is its slim design in the lower area, which is only 16mm thick, allowing easy mounting with the most common GPUs without compromising the structures for the GPU mounts.
In addition, the "Fractal Design North x Stealkey D4 Distroplate" offers a simple yet secure attachment option with 4 screw points in the rear area of your case. Their design ensures effortless assembly and integration into your existing setup. Hier sind ein paar Dinge, die mir aufgefallen sind. Es sind alles nur kleinigkeiten aber in der Preiskategorie sollten diese nicht in der Menge auftauchen:
1.Die Schraube rechts oben zum befüllen der Distroplate wird vom verbauten Radiator blockiert. Natürlich kann der Radiator schnell raus gebaut werden aber dennoch ärgerlich.
2. Man hat ganz oben den Rücklauf des Wassers und über der Pumpe eine kleine Kammer, worin sich die ganze Zeit Luft ansammelt. Ich hätte mir persönlich gewünscht, dass der Rücklauf kürzer gemacht wird und dafür die Kammer über der Pumpe größer Ausfällt. Würde auch das erste befüllen des Loops einfacher machen, da dann mehr Wasser zur Verfügung stünde.
3. Meine (DDC) Pumpe, die vorher unter einem klassischen Röhrenreservoir war, ist nun viel Lauter als vorher, da keine Dämpfung vorhanden ist.
4. Man hat kaum zugriff auf die Schrauben zur Befestigung zur Grafikkarte. Man hätte da einen halben Zentimeter mehr Platz machen können und das Einschrauben der Schrauben wäre viel einfacher und weniger schräger. Alternativ hätten sie auch dementsprechendes Werkzeug dazu legen können, damit das einfacher ist. Allgemein ist kein Zubehör vorhanden zur Distro außer die 4 Schrauben, womit man es befestigt. Außerdem muss man zuerst die zweite Grafikkarte einbauen, bevor man die erste einbaut, da der Bracket von der zweiten Karte von der Distro von vorne blockiert ist und die Karte von oben "rein sliden" muss.
5. Der untere Teil der Distro ist milchig und nicht transparent, was gar nicht auf den Bilder so rüber kam. Verstehe auch nicht warum das so sein muss.
Ansonsten eine schöne Distro und die einzig vernünftige da draußen, die man für das Gehäuse kaufen kann.
